Sleeper pad CP-361 is a rail fastening component designed for installation between a reinforced concrete sleeper and a baseplate when laying R-50 and R-65 rails. It serves to reduce impact loads, vibrations, and noise, and also provides electrical insulation of the rail track. It is used on mainline and industrial railway lines.

Description and Design

The CP-361 sleeper pad is manufactured in accordance with GOST R 56291–2014 from a special rubber compound based on synthetic rubber with increased elasticity and resistance to aging. The design ensures tight contact between the baseplate and the sleeper, uniform load distribution, and elastic damping during rolling stock passage.

The pad shape ensures stable positioning under the baseplate and prevents displacement;
The material is resistant to moisture, salts, oils, and ultraviolet radiation;
Maintains elastic properties at low temperatures down to −50 °C;
Prevents the formation of microcracks and chipping on the sleeper surface;
Guaranteed service life of at least 10 years under standard operating conditions.

Application

CP-361 sleeper pads are used in railway fastening systems of types KB, KBL, KP, as well as in similar elastic rail fastening systems. They are applied on mainline, station, and turnout sections of track with R-50 and R-65 rails. The pads provide elastic separation between the baseplate and the sleeper, reducing wear of track components and extending their service life.
