Technical parameters:
Bolt M24×140 — a threaded fastener used in railway rail and turnout fastening systems. It is applied for the installation of joint fishplates, base plates, and clamps, ensuring a strong and durable connection of rail elements under dynamic and vibration loads. Widely used in major overhauls and routine maintenance of railway tracks.
Hexagon bolts M24×140 are manufactured in accordance with DSTU GOST R 52644-2006 (GOST 7798-70) from carbon or alloy steel with subsequent heat treatment. The bolt design includes a hexagonal head and a metric thread with a 3 mm pitch. The threaded portion may be partial or full. The surface is protected against corrosion by zinc plating, phosphating, or oxidation, allowing the bolts to be used in open-air railway operating conditions.
Bolt M24×140 is used in KB, KBL, and KP rail fastening systems, as well as for connecting joint fishplates and turnout assemblies. It is applied in the construction and maintenance of railway lines, stations, industrial tracks, and sidings. Compatible with M24 nuts and standard spring or double-coil washers.
