Since 2010, Prombudkoliya has specialized in sleeper and rail replacement, as well as major and routine railway track maintenance. We carry out a full range of works to restore railway track superstructure elements, ensuring traffic safety, long service life, and compliance with modern operating standards.
All works are performed in accordance with Ukrzaliznytsia regulations, DBN requirements, and international quality standards. We use certified materials and our own machinery fleet, which guarantees accuracy and efficiency at every stage of repair.
Replacement of sleepers and rails is required to restore the load-bearing capacity of the track, eliminate defects, and extend the service life of railway lines. Timely renewal of structural elements prevents emergency situations and reduces future maintenance costs.
Removal of worn rails and sleepers using track machines and hydraulic equipment. Dismantled materials are sorted for subsequent recycling or disposal.
Installation of new reinforced concrete sleepers of Types I, II, Sh1, Sh2, or antiseptic-treated wooden sleepers. Elastic and clamp fastening systems are installed to ensure accurate rail fixation and reduce vibration during train operation.
Installation of new rails of types R50, R65, and R75. Joint bars, joint bolts, and gap adjustments are performed. If required, rails are welded into continuous welded rail (CWR) track to reduce noise and wear.
After replacement, layer-by-layer ballast filling and compaction are performed, followed by mechanized sleeper tamping and track alignment using VPO-3000 or VPRS machines. Track geometry accuracy and gauge slopes are strictly controlled.
Test runs with rolling stock are carried out, along with control measurements of track gauge, ballast density, and sleeper stability. As-built documentation and commissioning certificates are prepared.
Complete replacement of R50 rails with R65 rails and Sh2 sleepers over a 9 km section. Track stabilization was performed and the line was commissioned within 45 days.
Replacement of sleepers, rails, and ballast on a 2.4 km section without interruption of wagon traffic. Works were completed within 20 days.
Sleeper replacement, track alignment, turnout adjustment, and track geometry control were completed. The facility was commissioned with a positive expert assessment.
Main indicators include track deformation, loosened fastenings, cracks in sleepers, rail wear, and reduced rolling stock stability.
Yes. During routine maintenance, works are performed in stages within scheduled maintenance windows while maintaining traffic on adjacent tracks.
The average service life of reinforced concrete sleepers is up to 30 years, and rails last 20–25 years with regular maintenance and timely alignment.
