Rail anchor P-65 — an element of the railway track superstructure designed to prevent longitudinal displacement of R-65 type rails. It provides reliable rail fixation on the sleeper, increasing track stability and extending the service life of fastenings and sleepers.

Description and application

Rail anchors of type P-65 are manufactured in accordance with TU 32CP 811-95 (GOST 14959-79) and are used when laying R-65 rails on wooden sleepers. The design ensures tight contact with the rail foot and prevents longitudinal movement caused by traction and braking forces of rolling stock. Rail anchors are installed on both sides of the rail and fixed into the sleeper using spikes or screws.

The product is made of carbon structural steel, resistant to wear and corrosion. Zinc or paint coating may be applied to increase service life.
