Product type: Rail baseplate KDL-65 (KD-65)
Material: Structural steel 09G2S or St3, hot-rolled, heat-treated, with anti-corrosion coating
Technical parameters:
KDL-65 rail baseplate (KD-65) is an element of the railway track superstructure designed for installation under R-65 type rails on wooden sleepers. It ensures uniform load distribution on the sleeper, reliable rail fixation, and track gauge stability. It is used on mainline, station, and industrial track sections with intensive traffic.
KDL-65 baseplates are manufactured in accordance with TU U 30.2-31932840-002:2021 (GOST 16277-93) from hot-rolled steel with subsequent heat treatment. The design includes a recess matching the R-65 rail foot and four holes for spikes or screws. Oval holes compensate for thermal expansion of the rails, while round holes provide rigid fastening of the baseplate to the sleeper. The geometry of the product ensures tight contact of the rail foot, preventing displacement under vibration.
KDL-65 baseplates are used for installing R-65 rails on wooden sleepers. They are applied in construction and maintenance of public and industrial railway lines, including station tracks, turnouts, and access tracks. Compatible with rail fastening systems KБ-65 and KБЛ-65, as well as with 16×165 mm spikes and 24×150 mm rail screws.
