Track nuts of type M24 are manufactured in accordance with DSTU GOST 11532-93, which defines thread parameters, mechanical strength, and manufacturing accuracy. Carbon structural steel with a protective coating—zinc or phosphate—is used in production to improve corrosion resistance. They are applied in railway track joints together with M24×150 bolts in accordance with DSTU 11530:2017 and washers in accordance with DSTU EN ISO 7089:2022.
