KR-120 fishplate is an element of the upper crane track structure designed for connecting KR-120 type rails. It ensures precise alignment of rail profiles, reliable joint fixation, and uniform distribution of loads from crane wheels. It is used in the construction and repair of crane, industrial, and heavy-duty technological tracks.

Description and design

The KR-120 fishplate is manufactured in accordance with DSTU GOST 24741-81 from high-strength steel 09G2S or 20GL with subsequent heat treatment. The working surfaces of the fishplate are profiled to match the geometry of the KR-120 rail, ensuring tight contact and minimizing deformation during operation. The fishplate is provided with 6 holes for 27 mm diameter bolts to secure it to the rail and the opposing fishplate.

Manufactured by hot rolling and subsequent machining;
Working surfaces are milled to ensure tight contact;
The material offers high resistance to impact and dynamic loads;
Coating — zinc or phosphate for corrosion protection;
Service life — up to 30 years under crane load operating conditions.

Application

KR-120 fishplates are used for the installation and repair of crane tracks for overhead, gantry, and portal cranes. They are applied in industrial facilities, metallurgical and machine-building plants, as well as transport workshops. They ensure reliable rail joint connections and long service life of the track under intensive operation.
