Product type: Rail baseplate R-33
Material: Structural steel St3 or 09G2S, hot-rolled, heat-treated, with protective coating
Technical parameters:
Rail baseplate R-33 is an element of the railway superstructure designed for installation under R-33 type rails on light railway lines. It ensures uniform load distribution on the sleeper, rail stability, and long-term fastening durability. It is used in the construction and maintenance of industrial, access, and low-traffic railway tracks.
R-33 baseplates are manufactured in accordance with TU U 30.2-31932840-002:2021 (GOST 8142-89) from hot-rolled steel with subsequent heat treatment. The design is a flat steel plate with a recess shaped to the rail foot and holes for rail spikes. The geometry of the baseplate fully matches the R-33 rail profile, ensuring tight contact and reliable fastening of the rail to the sleeper.
R-33 baseplates are used in the construction and maintenance of railway tracks with light-type rails on industrial and construction lines, warehouse sidings, and technological tracks. They are installed on wooden sleepers and fixed with 14×130 mm rail spikes or track screws. The baseplates ensure secure rail retention and protect the sleeper from damage caused by the rail foot.
