SPR-65 1/11 — a manual turnout switching mechanism designed for operating 1/11 turnouts on railway tracks with R-65 rails. It provides reliable manual control of the turnout, smooth movement of the switch points, and secure locking in end positions, preventing unintended switching.

Description and Design

The SPR-65 1/11 mechanism is manufactured according to an TU U 30.2-31932840-001:2021 and DSTU standards and is used on high-reliability turnouts. Its design includes a cast-iron or steel housing, a wedge-type locking device, a reduction gear system, an operating lever, and a traction assembly for connection to the switch points. The mechanism is engineered for operation under intensive traffic conditions and increased vibration loads.

Application

The SPR-65 1/11 is used on industrial and mainline turnouts with R-65 rails and a 1/11 turnout ratio. It is mounted on a concrete foundation and connected to the turnout via articulated rods. The mechanism is widely applied at stations, marshalling yards, and industrial sidings where reliable manual control is required.
