R-33 Fishplate is an element of the railway superstructure used for strong and durable joint connection of R-33 type rails. It ensures track gauge stability, uniform load distribution to sleepers, and prevents rail displacement in the joint area. The product is used on industrial, access, and low-traffic railway sections.

Description and Design

The R-33 joint fishplate is manufactured in accordance with GOST 8141-56 from high-quality structural steel with subsequent heat treatment. The fishplate profile precisely matches the contour of the R-33 rail, ensuring tight contact along the working surfaces and even load distribution. All bolt holes are produced with high accuracy to ensure compatibility with standard fastening components.

Working surfaces are mechanically machined (milling and grinding);
Manufacturing by hot forging or casting is permitted (20GL steel);
Material hardness after heat treatment: not less than 240 HB;
Anti-corrosion protection: phosphating, painting, or zinc coating;
Service life: up to 30 years under normal loads and track maintenance conditions.

Application

R-33 fishplates are used for joining rails on light-duty railway tracks: industrial, warehouse, access, and temporary lines. They are applied during repair and construction of low-traffic track sections, as well as on railway lines of industrial facilities and ports where R-33 rails are used.
