Used clamp bolt assembly — a previously used railway fastening element intended for reuse in clamp fastening systems. It is applied for fixing rails of types R-50, R-65 and R-75 to sleepers through baseplates. It ensures reliable rail retention and track stability under moderate loads.

Description and condition

Clamp bolt assemblies are manufactured in accordance with DSTU GOST 16017:2019 (GOST 16017-79). After track dismantling, the products undergo sorting, cleaning from contaminants, and inspection of the thread and bolt head condition. Bolts without cracks, chips or significant thread wear are approved for reuse. Nuts and washers are selected according to the standard, ensuring full compatibility and functional reliability of the fastening.

Bolt condition — no thread defects or visible deformations;
Residual strength — not less than 80% of the nominal value;
Nuts and washers selected in accordance with metric standards;
Minor surface corrosion traces are allowed and do not affect operation;
Reuse service life — up to 10 years under normal loads.

Application

Used clamp bolts are applied in the repair and maintenance of railway tracks, on industrial, access and temporary lines. They are used in fastening systems of types KB, KBL, KP, providing sufficient strength and stability of the rail track under moderate dynamic impacts.
