Single-coil washer M22 — a spring-type element used in railway track fastenings to prevent loosening of threaded joints under vibration and dynamic loads. It is used together with bolts and nuts in clamp, embedded, and joint rail connections.

Description and design

The single-coil spring washer M22 is manufactured in accordance with DSTU GOST 19115-91 (GOST 6402-70) from carbon or alloy spring steel. After heat treatment, the product acquires high elasticity and the ability to maintain pressure in the threaded joint even under vibration and variable loads. The washer design is a split ring with a single-coil spring profile.

High elasticity and reliable retention of the joint;

Application

Single-coil washers M22 are used in the assembly of railway clamp and joint connections, as well as in rail pad fastening units. They are used together with M22 bolts in fastening systems of types KB, KBL, KP, as well as during installation of rail joint bars. The washers ensure stable tightening of joints under vibration, dynamic impacts, and variable climatic conditions.
