SPR-50 1/9 — a manually operated turnout switching mechanism designed for operating 1/9 turnouts on industrial and station railway tracks. The mechanism provides manual control of the turnout with secure locking in the end positions, preventing unintended switch movement.

Description and design

The SPR-50 1/9 mechanism is manufactured according to an TU U 30.2-31932840-001:2021 and DSTU standards and is used on turnouts with R-50 rails. The design includes a housing, ratchet drive, operating lever, wedge-type locking device, and a system of rods connecting the mechanism to the switch points.

Housing made of cast iron or steel with a protective coating;
Reliable locking mechanism for securing switch positions;
Adjustment of operating force depending on service conditions;
Compatibility with a manual switch position indicator;
Operating temperature range: from –40°C to +50°C.

Application

The SPR-50 1/9 is used on industrial and station track sections where reliable manual control of the turnout is required. It can be installed on a concrete or metal base and is connected to the switch points via a hinged rod system. Suitable for track sections with moderate traffic intensity.
