P-1 clamping plate is a rail fastening component designed to secure the rail foot to a baseplate or sleeper. It is used in clip-type rail fastening systems during railway track installation and maintenance. The clamping plate ensures reliable rail hold-down and stable rail positioning under vibrational and dynamic loads.

Description and design

The P-1 clamping plate is manufactured in accordance with DSTU GOST 24741-81 from high-strength structural steel. The design consists of a bent steel plate with a profile that ensures tight contact with the rail foot. Fastening is carried out using an M22 clip bolt and an M22 track nut. The plate operates together with the clip and baseplate, forming a reliable rail fastening assembly.

Contact surfaces are machined to ensure tight fit to the rail;
Geometry corresponds to KR-70 rail profiles;
The product is resistant to deformation and fatigue loads;
Anti-corrosion coating protects the metal from moisture and chemical exposure;
Service life — not less than 25 years under standard track operating conditions.

Application

P-1 clamping plates are used in clip fastening systems of types KB, KBL, and KP during installation of R-50 and R-65 rails on wooden and reinforced concrete sleepers. They ensure reliable clamping of the rail to the baseplate, preventing displacement and loosening of the fastening system. Applied in the construction and maintenance of mainline, station, and industrial railway lines.
