Purpose of Technical Maintenance

Regular technical maintenance of railway infrastructure is aimed at preventing wear and emergency situations, maintaining the proper condition of tracks, and extending the service life of all structural elements. Scheduled inspections and timely repairs ensure stable transport operations and safe train movements.

Types of Technical Maintenance

Scheduled Maintenance

Performed according to an approved schedule and includes visual and instrumental inspections of rails, sleepers, ballast, and turnouts. Track alignment, lubrication of moving components, fastening adjustments, and track geometry verification are carried out. Scheduled maintenance prevents premature failures and defects.

Unscheduled Maintenance

Performed when defects or damage are detected due to weather conditions, increased loads, or emergency situations. Includes replacement of worn sleepers, repair of rail joints, restoration of the ballast layer, and cleaning and repair of drainage systems.

Maintenance of Station and Industrial Tracks

We perform inspections of turnouts, repair level crossings and decking, and check lighting, signaling, and automation systems. Maintenance is carried out without interrupting enterprise operations and with minimal traffic restrictions.
