SPR-65 1/9 — a manually operated turnout switching mechanism designed for controlling 1/9 turnouts on railway tracks with R-65 rails. It ensures smooth movement of the switch points and reliable locking in the end positions, preventing unintended displacement.

Description and design

The SPR-65 1/9 mechanism is manufactured according to an individual project and DSTU standards and is used for turnouts with a 1/9 divergence ratio. The design includes a cast iron or steel housing, a system of shafts and levers, a ratchet gearbox, a wedge-type locking device, and connecting rods linking the mechanism to the switch points.

The mechanism housing is protected against corrosion and mechanical damage;
Force transmission is carried out via a system of shafts and connecting rods;
Locking of the turnout in two working positions is ensured by a locking device;
Compatible with a switch position indicator and locking system;
Operating temperature range: –40°C to +50°C.

Application

The SPR-65 1/9 is used on industrial, station, and siding railway tracks with intensive shunting operations. It is installed on a reinforced concrete or metal base and connected to the turnout via a system of articulated rods. The mechanism is applied where manual control without an electric drive is required.
