Since 2010, Prombudkoliya has been carrying out diagnostics and condition monitoring of railway tracks, turnouts, and permanent way elements. We use modern measuring and geodetic equipment to identify defects, analyze track geometry, and assess the technical condition of the track in accordance with the requirements of Ukrzaliznytsia.
Timely diagnostics help prevent emergency situations, extend the service life of track components, and reduce capital repair costs.
Track condition diagnostics is a systematic process of measuring, monitoring, and analyzing track parameters aimed at ensuring safe and stable train operations. Monitoring enables early detection of wear, settlements, fastening defects, and violations of track gauge geometry.
Measurements of track gauge, gradients, misalignments, curvature versines, and rail level are performed. Laser and GPS total station systems are used to achieve high measurement accuracy.
Visual and instrumental inspections of rails, sleepers, and fastening systems are carried out. The degree of wear, cracks, corrosion, and joint looseness is assessed.
Includes verification of geometry, condition of switch blades, frogs, drives, and connections. Clearances, runout, and compliance with Ukrzaliznytsia regulatory parameters are measured.
Geodetic monitoring of subgrade, ballast layer, and track panel settlement is conducted. Vertical and horizontal displacements are recorded to analyze the dynamic condition of the track.
The degree of contamination, compaction, and water saturation of the ballast is determined. If required, samples are taken and laboratory analysis is performed to assess material suitability.
Diagnostics of bolted joints, fastenings, and fishplates are performed. Tightening density, presence of cracks and looseness are checked, and clearances and deformations are measured.
An instrumental inspection of 5.6 km of track was carried out. Defect cartograms were prepared, settlement zones and rail wear were identified, and repair recommendations were developed.
Continuous monitoring of track geometry and settlements was organized. A database of changes and condition forecasts for the next 12 months was created.
Twelve turnouts were inspected, clearances, gradients, and frog positions were measured. Adjustments were carried out and a technical condition report was prepared.
It is recommended to conduct a full diagnostic inspection at least once per year, and quarterly on heavily trafficked sections.
Yes, part of the measurements can be carried out during maintenance windows or using non-contact systems that do not require dismantling track elements.
The client receives a technical report, defect cartograms, parameter tables, recommendations for устранение defects, and electronic track layouts.
