Technical parameters:
Rail baseplate KDL-50 (KD-50) is a track superstructure component designed for installation under R-50 type rails. It ensures uniform distribution of load from the rail to the sleeper, reliable fastening, and track gauge stability. It is used on public and industrial railway lines, as well as on station and shunting tracks.
The KDL-50 baseplate is manufactured in accordance with TU U 30.2-31932840-002:2021 (GOST 16277-93) from hot-rolled structural steel. The design is a steel plate with a rail seat that ensures tight contact with the rail foot. The baseplate features oval and round holes for spikes, screws, or bolts, depending on the fastening system used. The geometry of the product guarantees track stability and reliable rail fastening to the sleeper.
KDL-50 baseplates are used for laying R-50 rails on wooden and reinforced concrete sleepers. They are applied on mainline and industrial railways, as well as on station tracks and access lines. Compatible with rail fastening systems such as KB-50, KBL-50, and with 16×165 mm spikes.
