Clamp bolt with nut and washer — an element of railway fastening designed to press the rail to the baseplate through a clamp. The set is used for installation of R-50, R-65 and R-75 rails, ensuring reliable track retention and preventing longitudinal rail displacement. Installed as part of clamp fastening systems on wooden and reinforced concrete sleepers.

Description and design

Clamp bolts with nut and washer are manufactured in accordance with DSTU GOST 16017:2019 (GOST 16017-79) from structural steel with heat treatment, providing high strength and wear resistance. The design includes a bolt with a square neck preventing rotation, a hex nut, and a spring or double-coil washer that prevents self-loosening under vibration. The product ensures a reliable and durable connection of track superstructure elements.

Manufactured from steel grades 35, 40Kh with heat treatment;
Protective coating against corrosion — zinc-plated or phosphated;
Metric thread according to GOST 24705 with 6g accuracy;
Tensile strength — not less than 800 MPa;
Service life — up to 20 years under standard loads.

Application

Clamp bolts with nut and washer are used in railway clamp fastening systems of types KB, KBL, KP and similar systems. They are applied during construction and repair of mainline, station and industrial railway tracks. The set provides reliable clamping of the rail to the baseplate and track stability under dynamic loads from rolling stock.
